Heres a sketchy plan for the layout for the v1 version.
What im thinking of removing is the ally between the 2nd cortyard and the corp street by the core sheild generator buildings, or make it hackable/legboostable only.
Lol looking at it the sewers need changing to scale

feel free to make comments and sujestions, positve or negative i dont care lol

I think your number one priority should be making sure the map has a smooth framerate for as many people as possible. This is the most important thing and is certainly the biggest complaint people have about the map.

looks interesting, what I found out that it is very hard to balance a map, give people to many ways into an objective and the defending team retreats into the obj area, give teams the option to backhack, a part of the people will start being diverted to backhacking which can be positiv or negative.

so I don't know if this new layout will change everything, but it looks good, together with your skills for detail I'm looking forward to the new beta

Amen. Its no use having a new map if people can't play it.

Cyberpunk challenge league likes the map, but we think u have to fix on the last objetive the texture, the fps are very low.

And maybe u have to made some change on the last objetive.

It not in a shape for any clanplay atm, its only a beta, and wasent meant to be in a live server cycle other than the Dysareanewmaps server which does the mfp's.
wait untill v1 lol, still laying out ideas, then adding them into the map seeing what works/ doesent work.

Great images! Those generators are looking very cool.

How about the gameplay? There were various areas of concern there, which I know you were planning a redesign to combat.

Well I'm actualy working on 4 (maybe 3) different maps atm, changing whenever I get bored with one. So don't expect one to be ready too soon :P

First one is punks raiding a bank to pinch the credits, cleverly named dys_bank. Pretty standard.

Second one I'm hoping to be able to include brutes in. A corporation is working on improving the cloning process in a secluded tundra area, (where some of the first cloning technology was developed), creating units much stronger and agile than ever before.
A Punk group got wind of this information by chance, while pirating explicit movies involving clone-on-clone action in c-space. They figure the blueprints will fetch them enough money on the market to set them up for life.
No idea for the name yet.

Third is a phystball map based on doom2's dead simple (with added bits to make it work gameplay wise). I'll need to create some rusty metal hellish textures before this one is ready for release though, and seeing as I've never made any textures for source yet that could take some time.

Last one is an entire cybespace based one, based on a sort of freindly competion between gangs... Except one side is dressed up as corps. =P
Map would have four stages, and punks have to press 6 buttons in each stage to 'win' and progress to the next area. Each time you progress the metspace side becomes more and more hospitable, (first match starts out in a type of setting akin to broadcast), until you reach the last stage where you have a full blown audience. Named dys_cs_champion.

I may just scrap this one though, seeing as cyberspace maps haven't been too well recieved in the past.

Anyway, sorry for hijacking your thread there icepick :P
